In Other News: Charlie Kirk memorial in Huntington Beach spark concerns for some residents paid actors.
Huntington Beach Statement on Support for Charlie Kirk Memorial and Community Events:

The City of Huntington Beach extends its condolences to the family, friends, and supporters of Charlie Kirk. To honor his memory, flags at all City facilities will be flown at half-staff through sundown on Sunday, September 21, the day of his memorial service.

A community memorial in downtown Huntington Beach will remain in place until that time as a space for residents and visitors to gather and reflect.

The City is grateful to our community for exercising their First Amendment rights peacefully and respectfully. The events over the weekend were overwhelmingly peaceful, and the Huntington Beach Police Department has confirmed that no arrests occurred in direct connection with the rally.

The City reiterates its firm condemnation of dangerous political rhetoric and affirms its ongoing partnership with law enforcement to safeguard public safety.

We commend our residents and visitors for showing the spirit of Huntington Beach by coming together in a safe and civil manner while honoring the life of Mr. Kirk.

Sincerely,
Mayor Pat Burns

We are deeply saddened to learn of the DPS Trooper who was killed overnight in a fiery crash while responding to a call in San Jacinto County.
Please keep this Trooper, their loved ones, and the entire DPS family in your prayers as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.πŸ™πŸ»

A Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper was killed Monday night while responding to a call. The incident happened in San Jacinto County. The Trooper was responding to a call to assist San Jacinto County Units. As he was traveling on FM 945 off FM 2025 he crossed the East Fork of the San Jacinto River bridge. As he came into the next curve, his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a pine tree. The vehicle then burst into flames. The Trooper was unable to escape. San Jacinto County dispatchers got the call just minutes before 9pm. When the first fire unit arrived, the vehicle was fully involved. DPS investigators spent close to 5 hours investigating the crash. The incident happened a mere 10 feet from another recent fatal crash. DPS is not yet releasing the trooper's name. According to DPS Sgt Erik Burs,e a statement will be issued later today from DPS Austin.

Hate speech that crosses the line into threats of violence is NOT protected by the First Amendment. It’s a crime. For far too long, we’ve watched the radical left normalize threats, call for assassinations, and cheer on political violence. That era is over.

Under 18 U.S.C. Β§ 875(c), it is a federal crime to transmit β€œany communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another.” Likewise, 18 U.S.C. Β§ 876 and 18 U.S.C. Β§ 115 make it a felony to threaten public officials, members of Congress, or their families.

You cannot call for someone’s murder. You cannot swat a Member of Congress. You cannot dox a conservative family and think it will be brushed off as β€œfree speech.” These acts are punishable crimes, and every single threat will be met with the full force of the law.

Free speech protects ideas, debate, even dissent but it does NOT and will NEVER protect violence.

It is clear this violent rhetoric is designed to silence others from voicing conservative ideals.

We will never be silenced. Not for our families, not for our freedoms, and never for Charlie. His legacy will not be erased by fear or intimidation.

California finally found a mask mandate it doesn’t support.

Federal law enforcement are not legally required to abide by this nonsense that endangers people and interferes with public safety.

Today, we honor and remember LASD Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, End of Watch (EOW) September 16th, 2023.

On September 16th, 2023, Deputy Clinkunbroomer tragically lost his life in an unprovoked ambush at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue Q in the city of Palmdale. While stopped at a red light in his marked patrol vehicle, he was senselessly shot and later transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Deputy Clinkunbroomer served our communities for 8 years and proudly followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather who also served with our department. Deputy Clinkunbroomer is survived by his fiancΓ©e, siblings, parents, and grandparents. Rest in peace, Deputy Clinkunbroomer. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
