The Police fired three rounds of tear gas grenades at Wai Yip Street to disperse protesters. Rubber bullets and/or bean bag rounds had also been fired, and had advanced for 200 yards, but still maintain distance with the protesters. Hundreds of protesters converge on Biarritz for the #G7 summit carrying rubber dinghies to represent immigrants who have crossed the border between France and Spain. Climate change protesters carrying orange dinghies in reference to migrants have marched through the French border village town of Hendaye, near Biarritz, Some of them plan on crossing into Spain. Other activists were seen carrying banners and signs with the Earth drawn on them. Several of the world's leaders including Germany's chancellor Angela Merkel, Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and America's President Donald Trump, have arrived in France to discuss the environment this weekend. Host French President Emmanuel Macron has put the fires in Brazil's Amazon top of the agenda.Police officers clashed with demonstrators today.
