Henry Isaul Garcia reversed his car — which was carrying three other illegal aliens — into the ICE officer’s leg before “nearly crushing him."
The injured ICE officer is in stable condition after being treated at a local hospital, DHS said

Please keep the family of Cornelius NC police officer Gabriel Stainback in your thoughts.

Officer Stainback passed away Saturday afternoon in Concord after being hit by a vehicle while on a bike ride with his wife.

Stainback was sworn into CPD in December of 2024 after being hired as a cadet and going through the BLET program. He was newly married.

"Our deepest condolences are with his family and our entire CPD family. Please keep them in your thoughts during this unimaginable tragedy," the department said in a Facebook post.

MIRACULOUS RECOVERY: McCaysville Police Captain Brantley Worley will be released from the hospital tomorrow, just days after he was shot in the face in the line of duty in north Georgia.

Tomorrow at 1:00 PM, Captain Brantley Worley will undergo surgery to repair his nose fracture. Following the procedure, he will be discharged and coming home to continue his recovery.

As he makes his way back, we are asking our community to rally together in support. We invite you to line Blue Ridge Drive through the City of McCaysville as we escort him home, showing the love, encouragement, and strength that makes this community so special.
