1750 Telford Square, Kowloon Bay. STS pointed their guns at civilians on the platform while telling them to "Stop throwing things" and advancing to the platform's exit. Protestors lifted manhole covers and placed them on the soapy floor to act as a defence line. Nearby residents watch from their flats, some scolding the police for wasting taxpayers' money. An officer shouted back, "Don't I have to pay taxes?" then fired several pepper spray balls and a tear gas grenade at protestors only 20m away. Source: In-media #HK

Police ignored an injured protestor's lack of ability to walk and continued to drag him on the road. A first-aider raised a flag which said, "Obstruction of medical care is a violation of the International Humanitarian Law, and a breach of the IHL is a serious criminal offence" to show their discontent towards the police's behaviour. Donald Trump landed in France with First Lady Melania for the #G7 summit Saturday, after taking a swipe at fellow leaders, calling them 'friends of mine, for the most part' but not in '100 percent of the cases'. The president threw shade at some of America's closest partners on Friday evening, mere hours before he'd see them in Biarritz at the Group of Seven summit. He threatened to tax French 'like they've never seen before' and characterized world leaders attending the event as 'friends for the most part' in front of Marine One.
Google BANS employees from discussing politics because too many were 'disrupting the workday to have a raging debate' just days after Trump claimed the tech giant has an 'anti-conservative bias'. Stung by a slew of recent controversies, Google - which for so long prided itself on providing an open workplace culture where workers are free to speak their minds and voice their opinions - published new employee guidelines Friday appearing to attempt to rein in their freewheeling staff. #facepalm
