NEW: LAPD shoots allegedly armed man in North Hills. The man was hospitalized after the shooting.

LAPD News: Prelim info: around 5:20pm, Mission Div ofcrs responded to a radio call of an ADW suspect there now in the area of Parthenia St. and 405 fwy underpass. At around the same time, a man with a gun call was generated for the same suspect.

An LAPD airship was above the call and directed ground units to the suspect walking on Parthenia at the freeway underpass. When the officers encountered the suspect, an officer involved shooting occurred.

The suspect, described as a male adult was struck by gunfire and taken into custody. Paramedics transported the suspect to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Suspect’s weapon remains at scene and will be collected as evidence.

No officers or other community members were injured during this incident. This is preliminary info as investigators review video, physical evidence and interviews of witnesses and officers involved.

Parthenia will be closed from Orion Ave to Haskell during the investigation.

NEW: CNN also reported that Utah police identified another person of interest in Charlie Kirk assassination, who they're currently looking for.
