Idaho: On Monday, The Shoshone County Sheriff's Department and the Kellogg Police Department initiated a pursuit of a vehicle that had recently been seen in Kellogg driving at reckless speeds by the Kellogg Police Department.
The suspect driving the vehicle continued to endanger the public nearly hitting a civilian (in their vehicle), and police vehicles. Law Enforcment continued pursuit of the vehicle to the Cataldo boat launch. In the boat launch area, the vehicle turned around and accelerated attempting to strike a Kellogg Officer head on. To prevent this from occurring, a Sheriff Deputy struck the vehicle on the driver's side pushing it into the rocks ending the pursuit. The Deputy was transported by ambulance to the hospital to have his injuries cared for. The injuries were not life threatening, and he will make a full recovery.

BREAKING: Eight men have been indicted in what prosecutors say was a $40 million car theft and smuggling ring that moved hundreds of high-end vehicles from Michigan to the Middle East.
Federal prosecutors say that between July 2023 and August 2025, about 400 stolen cars were collected at lots in the Detroit area, loaded into shipping containers and sent overseas. False paperwork disguised the shipments as auto parts or other goods.
Those charged are Haydar Al Haydari, 41, of Garden City; Karar Alnakash, 43, of Detroit; Abbas Al Othman, 42, of Dearborn Heights; Mohammed Al Hilo, 36, of Detroit; Moustapha Al Fetlawi, 46, of Dearborn Heights; Terrill Davis, 33, of Detroit; David Roshinsky Williams, 32, of Harper Woods; and Mohammed Al Abboodi, 35, of Detroit.
Prosecutors allege Davis and Williams worked as brokers to source stolen cars, while the others handled shipments abroad. In one case, a BMW and Chevrolet Camaro were packed into a container bound for Iraq with documents claiming the cargo was auto parts.
