NEW: A naked woman who led police on a brief pursuit Tuesday morning was taken into custody following a lengthy standoff on a major street in Westwood.

The woman was detained just before 11 a.m. right after she jumped on the roof of her SUV.

Officers initially responded at 6:44 a.m. to report of a screaming woman causing a disturbance in the 11000 block of Ovada Place in Bel Air, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The street is just east of the Getty Center and the 405 Freeway.

UPDATE: Phoenix police now say two officers and one suspect were injured in a shooting this morning that took place as a search warrant was being served.

A police officer and a suspect were hospitalized after a shooting in Phoenix on Tuesday, authorities said.

The incident occurred in the area of 17th Avenue and Tonto Street, about a mile south of the Arizona Capitol, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The area has been secured, police said in media advisory just after noon.

The officer sustained an unspecified injury that isn’t considered life-threatening.
