Connecticut: A police officer was struck by a vehicle while conducting traffic Wednesday, but was not seriously injured, officials said.

The officer was struck at the intersection of Daniels Farm and Hedgehog roads, according to the Trumbull Police Department.

Police said the officer did not sustain an injury that required treatment at a hospital.

UPDATE: Police in Emporia say no active threat has been identified after an active shooter alarm was pulled Thursday afternoon.
