On this day in 2006, Jamie was shot in the line of duty while serving a high risk warrant with the Nampa Police Tactical Response Team.

Iowa: One driver and one Des Moines Police Department officer were taken to the hospital after a crash on the city’s east side.

According to the DMPD, a patrol officer was responding to a call of a domestic fight around 7:15 p.m., when it collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and East Euclid Avenue.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries during the collision and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Missouri: A Kansas City police officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon when a patrol vehicle collided with a stolen car that was being pursued after an armed robbery and carjacking.

Police said the pursuit began when officers spotted a stolen silver BMW 640i traveling the wrong way southbound on Askew Avenue.

The BMW first struck a parked Buick Enclave before continuing southbound.

At Anderson and Askew, the BMW entered an intersection and collided with a marked police Dodge Durango that was responding with lights and sirens.

The suspect vehicle then struck a wooden light pole before coming to a stop.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the BMW, fled on foot but was quickly taken into custody. Police said the suspect was not injured.

The officer declined medical transport.

I truly hope Gavin Newsom starts turning California around, even if it’s for political reasons.

The people living there deserve some relief, but that won’t make up for the years he spent making their lives miserable while prioritizing illegal immigrants.

There’s not enough hair gel in the world to cover that up.

L.A. County’s registrar estimates, as of Wednesday, the cost for the county to administer the special election is about $63.3 million.

Note that , $63 million could fund roughly 663 Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies for one year. Thats about 50% of the vacancies.

So under the guise of “keeping his power safe” Gov. Gavin Newsom is willing to sacrifice the safety of Los Angeles citizens.
