A homeless encampment in Olympia, Washington. Olympia is considered one of the most liberal cities in Washington, which is saying a lot considering there is Seattle. Over 100 acres look like this. I spoke to several homes who said the help is minimal. The only help is the weekly handing out of pipes. Why is it that the most liberal cities have the most cruel practices? It’s ironic, considering more often than our progressive say they’re the ones that are all about compassion, love and hope.

Prayers for the Hanford Police officer who was injured in the line of duty last week.🙏🏻

California: A Hanford police officer was airlifted to the hospital following a traffic collision while on duty.

It happened around 6 p.m. Friday on Grangeville Boulevard near East Street.

The Hanford Police Department says the officer was responding to a traffic collision, when a small pickup truck merged onto East street without yielding to oncoming traffic.

The officer tried to avoid the truck but was thrown off the bike after hitting the side of the truck.

Authorities say the officer is in serious, but stable condition suffering injuries to his arms and face.

Bodycam footage from the Newport Police Department in Newport, Rhode Island, shows Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Flanagan pleading with officers not to arrest her and appearing to try to use her job as a state prosecutor to get officers to let her go.

"I'm an AG! I'm an AG!" Flanagan can be heard saying to police as they tried to detain her for failing to comply with their demands. "You're going to regret this. You're going to regret it. I'm an A-" Flanagan said as she was escorted to the back of a police car and the door was shut.

Oregon: A Bend man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly leading police and sheriff's deputies on a chase in downtown Bend and in Sunriver. Spike strips and a PIT maneuver had to be used to stop him in the latest incident, but not before a deputy was injured, the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office said.

It started around 9:18 a.m. when a deputy at the main office in downtown Bend spotted a black Cadillac Escalade being driven recklessly on the property, Carr said. When the deputy tried stopping Hammer, he refused to pull over and left the area. The deputy broke off the chase for public safety and a county-wide search began.

About 40 minutes later, a Sunriver Police sergeant spotted the Escalade on Highway 97. Hammer tried again to get away, with Carr saying Hammer drove at high speed and swerved into oncoming traffic. Spike strips were deployed, deflating two tires, but Hammer allegedly drove on.

Hammer drove down South Century Drive, Spring River Road and residential streets, nearly hitting multiple officers, Carr said. He allegedly rammed a Deschutes County K-9 vehicle, damaging it and leaving the deputy inside with minor injuries.

Right Place, Right Time

This morning around 9 AM, a Parking Enforcement Officer happened upon a baby being resuscitated by a caregiver and neighbors on the 9000 block of Lucerne. The Parking Enforcement Officer immediately jumped on the radio to expedite help.

Within seconds, Culver City Police Officers arrived on scene and thankfully the infant was breathing again. Culver City Fire Department personnel arrived for further treatment and evaluation of the infant.

Incredible teamwork by our community, Parking Enforcement and responding officers, and Fire Department. Moments like this show how every second counts and how much we can accomplish when we work together.
