This is K-9 Azula and her handler Deputy Mike Allred of the Box Elder County Sheriff's Office, Utah.

They were shot at and both injured in the tragedy that took the lives of two Tremonton Garland police officers last night.

Deputy Allred has been released from the hospital and is recovering.

Azula, a 3‑year‑old Belgian Malinois, is under veterinary care and also expected to recover.

Pennsylvania: A police officer was injured in a head-on collision in Plainfield Township, Northampton County.

The accident happened just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Both the officer, who was driving a Slate Belt Regional Police car, and the other driver involved in the crash were taken to the hospital.

The desperate search for a 7-month-old baby continued on Monday as San Bernardino County deputies combed through several areas in Yucaipa and Cabazon, including the family's home.

🚔🦉 While conducting a traffic stop on US-101 in Penngrove, officers spotted an injured owl on the shoulder.

Officer Burner carefully scooped up the owl and transported it to Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue for care.
