Watch: Two people have escaped serious injury after a light aircraft crash-landed on a golf course in Sydney's northern beaches.

The forced landing happened during a training flight just after 2pm with a pilot and passenger onboard.

Aerial footage shows the plane on Mona Vale golf course, with visible damage to a wing, and it appears the wheels have come off.

The ambulance service says the pair aged in their 50s were treated for minor injuries before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for further assessment.

Police Officer Injured in Head-On Collision in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

A serious accident occurred just before 1:30 a.m. today in Plainfield Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

A Slate Belt Police Department officer was driving when their vehicle was involved in a head-on collision. Both the officer and the other driver were rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, their conditions are currently unknown.

The “moped driver” was an Illegal Alien Criminal from Venezuela with suspected gang affiliation and an active final order of removal from the country. Upon his arrest, the Illegal Alien Criminal resisted arrest and a law enforcement officer suffered a concussion as a result.

Florida: A Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy shot and killed a man who had injured himself in a Cooper City parking lot after the man went on the attack, authorities said.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue units responded to a call reporting a man had shot himself in the parking lot of a McDonald’s near the 10200 block of Griffin Road, off North Palm Avenue, early Saturday afternoon.

After locating the man, a deputy approached the man in an attempt to help him, investigators said.

The man then attacked the deputy, detectives said, forcing the deputy to discharge his weapon, striking the man.

7News cameras captured the injured deputy on a stretcher as paramedics took him to an ambulance.
“Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue and Davie Fire Rescue transported a deputy and the man’s mother to a local hospital for treatment. Neither of them received gunfire injuries,” said Caro.
