This afternoon, the two suspects connected to recent burglaries in East Gadsden are in custody. When confronted by our officers, they chose to run. After a brief foot pursuit, they were quickly apprehended.

During the arrest of one suspect, an officer was injured. Our thoughts and full support are with them as they recover.

We are grateful to the community, the many partnering law enforcement agencies, and the Good Samaritan bystanders who stepped in to help. Your actions reflect the very spirit of Pride, Integrity, and Excellence that we strive to serve with every day.
