🚔 Yesterday morning, Lake Travis ISD police officer Stephen Dean was seriously injured when a large rock struck his windshield while driving to work on US 281.
🐕🦺 His K-9, Officer Fox, was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
🙏 Although Officer Dean sustained serious injuries, we are happy to report that he's in stable condition— but his recovery will take time. We ask our LTISD family to keep Officer Dean in your thoughts and prayers.🙏🏻

R.I.: A Bristol man accused of driving under the influence and injuring two police officers in the process was arrested early Thursday morning.
Police said Andrew McCool, 38, collided with the back of a police cruiser that was at a traffic stop on Hope Street around 12:15 a.m.
The force of the crash caused the cruiser to collide with another one in front of it, according to police.
The officer in the driver’s seat of the second cruiser and another officer who was standing outside it both suffered injuries.
