BREAKING: A person was shot and killed this morning after trying to get onto Davis-Monthan AFB.

We’re told, “A civilian was shot and fatally injured by a member of the 355th Security Forces Squadron when the individual attempted to illegally gain access to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base at approximately 2:30 a.m.
 
The individual, a non-military civilian, failed to stop and identify themselves at the base’s main gate on Craycroft Road and was reported to be driving erratically. The suspect then crashed into the deployed vehicle barrier and reversed the vehicle. Defenders from the 355 Security Forces Squadron initiated their escalation of force protocol, employing their weapon to stop the suspect.
 
‘We certainly regret the loss of life that occurred early this morning,’ said Col Jose Cabrera, 355 Wing commander. ‘Our Defenders have a very difficult job and acted in accordance with their training and policy to ensure the security of the installation and safety of our Airmen.’
 
The incident is currently under investigation. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations Detachment 217 is the lead investigative agency.”

I was just informed that our Country’s “Jobs Numbers” are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory. This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records — No one can be that wrong? We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can’t be manipulated for political purposes. McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two months. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative. The Economy is BOOMING under “TRUMP” despite a Fed that also plays games, this time with Interest Rates, where they lowered them twice, and substantially, just before the Presidential Election, I assume in the hopes of getting “Kamala” elected – How did that work out? BREAKING: A tragic shooting Friday morning shook the heart of Anaconda, Montana, where four people were reported killed at the Owl Bar on 3rd Street.

The alleged gunman, believed to be armed with an AR-15-style rifle, sparked a rapid and heavy response from law enforcement and a flood of reactions from stunned residents.

“I heard he killed four at the Owl Bar,” one person messaged. “Seven state and local police cars are circling.” Multiple witnesses and local chatter confirmed law enforcement locked down parts of the town while they attempted to locate and contain the shooter. Eyewitnesses reported sirens, street closures, and police surrounding a residence where the individual was believed to be hiding.

According to one source, “Police have the man in his house and are trying to de-escalate the situation.” Another added, “Scanner traffic says the shooter is headed to Philipsburg.”

If you are in the area:
• Do not approach police perimeters
• Avoid the vicinity of 3rd Street and Ash
• Report any relevant information to local authorities immediately

UPDATE: The Montana Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is leading the investigation into a shooting that took place in Anaconda at The Owl Bar at approximately 10:30 this morning. Four people have been pronounced dead, and the scene is secure. This is an active investigation, and more information will be shared when available.

Authorities are searching for a suspect who is believed to be armed west of Anaconda near Stumptown Road and Anderson Ranch Loop Road. We are asking people to please avoid the area. Any other questions about the search for a suspect need to be directed to the Anaconda Deer Lodge Police Department.

UPDATE: ICE tells FoxNews the driver who allegedly attempted to run over their agents in Colorado yesterday has been ID’d as a 6x previously deported Mexican illegal alien w/ a rap sheet for child abuse, domestic violence, and multiple felony illegal re-entries.

His name is JOSE MENDEZ-CHAVEZ and he is still on the run, wanted for assault on a federal officer after ICE says he tried ram his vehicle into their agents in Colorado Springs yesterday. Photo of him below, courtesy of ICE.

ICE confirms to FOX that the passenger in the vehicle with MENDEZ-CHAVEZ has been arrested and is cooperating with law enforcement.

ICE statement to FOX:

ICE arrested Francisco Zapata-Pacheco at approximately 2 p.m. July 31. He was the passenger in the vehicle used to attack officers and is cooperating with law enforcement officials. He will remain in ICE custody pending the immigration and criminal proceedings.
 
Jose Mendez-Chavez remains at large; he is an illegal alien from Mexico. This convicted child abuser also has convictions for domestic violence and for illegal reentry on multiple occasions. He knows he’s not supposed to be here, since we’ve removed him six times previously.
 
It is despicable that Colorado Rapid Response network would show up in defense of an alien who has abused children and attempted to injure our officers. Our brave ICE law enforcement officers are facing an 830% increase in assaults against them as they carry out operations due to the misinformation activist groups spread. Mendez was not an ‘innocent victim’ he is an abuser who plays the system and is now wanted for assault on a federal officer.”
