Attorney General Bill Barr, issued a stark warning to Jeffrey Epstein's alleged co-conspirators on Monday, telling them they 'should not rest easy'. The investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and his sex crimes looks set to shift its focus following his death to those accused of helping him, in a move that threatens to implicate some of the world's richest, most powerful men. Speaking during a press conference Barr said: 'Let me assure you that this case will continue on against anyone who was complicit with Epstein. Any co-conspirators should not rest easy.' While Epstein was the only person charged the Manhattan U.S. Attorney pledged to 'stand for victims' following Epstein's death on Saturday morning. Prosecutors may also target those set to testify against Epstein now that 'they don't need them'. Sarah Kellen Vickers, Adriana Ross, Nadia Marcinkova and Lesley Groff could also face new probes.And there are still 'thousands of more documents to be released', reports say.

Philip Manshaus was arrested on Saturday after he entered the Al-Noor Islamic Center in Baerum, a suburb of Norwegian capital Oslo. One person was slightly injured before people inside the mosque held the suspect until police arrived on the scene. Police then raided the suspect's nearby house and found the body of his 17-year-old stepsister. Today Manshaus appeared in court with a black eye and wounds to his neck. News outlets report Montgomery County Police describe Rose's Spa in Rockville as a "house of prostitution." Police say officers tracked the owner Emily Zhang Lawrence shuttling six women back and forth from a home in Germantown she used as a dormitory for sex workers. WJLA reports a four-month police investigation found 18 male customers admitted to paying for illicit sexual acts. Police noted the employees are thought to be Chinese immigrants recruited from Flushing, New York.

The peak of the best summertime meteor shower – the Perseids – will be coming to a sky near you today night, weather permitting. Unfortunately, the moon is very close to full, which will wash out the fainter Perseids, NASA's meteor expert Bill Cooke told space.com. "The Perseids are rich in fireballs, so you'll still see Perseids; you just won't see the show you've seen on nights when the moon has not been around." The moon's bright light will drown out fainter meteors and leave the brighter ones less impressive during the prime viewing hours after midnight, Astronomy magazine said. Cooke said to expect to see from 10-15 meteors per hour. The best Perseid performance we know of occurred in 1993, when the peak rate topped 300 meteors per hour, NASA said.

A Louisville man was arrested after he fractured an 8-year-old's skull with a shovel Friday and sexually assaulted her, according to police. Cane L. Madden, 29, has been charged with first-degree rape, assault and robbery in connection with the attack that reportedly took place in the California neighborhood. According to an arrest citation, Louisville Metro Police officers responded about 4:30 p.m. Friday to a report of a 8-year-old girl who had been hit in the head with a shovel and robbed of her iPad. The girl was taken to the emergency room at Norton Children's Hospital, where a doctor told detectives she suffered a right skull fracture, multiple cuts and bruises to the head and "significant bruising and tearing of the vaginal wall, which is indicative of sexual assault," according to the arrest report.

A 16-year-old boy died after being attacked by three dogs while trespassing in a backyard in suburban Dallas. Police officers responded to the scene in Irving, Texas, around 5 a.m. Saturday morning after being alerted of a "suspicious circumstance." When officers arrived at the home, they saw the three pit bulls mauling the boy, according to a statement. Officers jumped the fence to shield him from the attacks. One officer was bitten, which led to officers firing at the pit bulls. One of the pit bulls was injured and later euthanized. "She did what she’s supposed to do,” Guillermo Lorenzo, who owned the home and the dogs, later said of the euthanized dog to WFAA-TV. The boy was rushed to Dallas' Parkland Memorial Hospital but died as a result of the dogs' attacks.

Police in San Diego made the grisly discovery of three dead bodies in the trunk of a parked car parked in a residential neighborhood. The three decomposing bodies were discovered in the Bay Terraces neighborhood just before 5pm on Sunday, after police received a call regarding a suspicious parked BMW vehicle. Responding officers found the three bodies - two females and a male - in the trunk. The victims appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s, according to the San Diego police. Due to the condition of the decomposing bodies, their race remains unknown. The BMW car had been parked on the residential street for two days, according to the Los Angeles Times. 😱
