More updates for you on our efforts to defend the homeland and protect the American people from our foreign adversaries.
This week, Cadence Design Systems Inc., a multinational electronic design automation software and hardware company, plead GUILTY to committing criminal export violations and will pay more than $140 MILLION in criminal and civil penalties. Cadence sold SENSITIVE semiconductor design tools and technology to a RESTRICTED Chinese military university involved in the development of supercomputers which are believed to support military and nuclear explosion simulations in China.
Our countryโs talented technology innovators โ particularly within Silicon Valleyโs semiconductor industry โ stand amongst the best in the world. Your FBI, along with our partners, will continue to protect our most sensitive industries and innovators from reaching the hands of our ENEMIES.
This plea deal is a wakeup call for the semiconductor industry to take our export control laws SERIOUSLY and to better monitor where our leading-edge technology is going. The FBI will never stop working to identify and stop these ILLEGAL actions.
Iโd like to highlight the great work of FBI San Francisco, the FBI Counterintelligence Division, and the CommerceGov for their continued efforts to safeguard this technology. This work is CRITICAL to defending the homeland and protecting you, the American people.
God bless America, and all those who defend Her.

The gerrymander in California is outrageous. Of their 52 congressional districts, 9 of them are Republican. That means 17 percent of their delegation is Republican when Republicans regularly win 40 percent of the vote in that state.

Today, GDP growth came in above market expectations, and yesterday, consumer confidence rose. Americans trust in President Trumpโs America First economic agenda that continues to prove the so-called โexpertsโ wrong. President Trump has reduced Americaโs reliance on foreign products, boosted investment in the US, and created thousands of jobs โ delivering on his promise to Make America Wealthy Again. The data is clear and there are no more excuses, now is the time for โtoo lateโ Powell to cut the rates!

BREAKING๐ฟ : FBI Director Kash Patel found a trove of sensitive documents related to the origins of the TrumpโRussia probe buried in multiple "burn bags" in a secret room inside the bureau, sources familiar with the incident told Fox News Digital.
Sources told Fox News Digital that the "burn bag" system is used to destroy documents designated as classified or higher.
Sources told Fox News Digital that multiple burn bags were found and filled with thousands of documents.
Sources told Fox News Digital that one of the documents FBI officials found in a burn bag was the classified annex to former special counsel John Durham's final report, which includes the underlying intelligence he reviewed.
The declassification of the classified annex is being done in close coordination between CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Patel, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi and acting National Security Agency Director William Hartman.
The declassified annex will be transmitted to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who ultimately will release the document to the public.

SERIAL THIEF ARRESTED BY ORGANIZED RETAIL CRIMES DETECTIVES
In May 2025, Organized Retail Theft Investigators from Loweโs and Home Depot contacted the Sacramento County Sheriffโs Office regarding a shoplifting theft series in the Sacramento Valley involving a male suspect, whom the Sacramento Sheriff Organized Retail Crimes detectives were able to identify as 32-year-old Tyson John Senovio Renowden of Sacramento County. On May 30th, 2025, Renowden was arrested by the Lincoln Police Department on felony theft charges but was released a few days later on pre-trial probation and was outfitted with a GPS ankle monitor. Between June 4th, 2025, and July 28th, 2025, Renowden committed thefts at Loweโs and Home Depot locations throughout the region over 100 additional times, even after being placed on pre-trial probation.
Through investigation, Sheriff Detectives discovered that Renowden had been stealing and selling cordless tool batteries and cordless tools since at least December 2024. Detectives determined that he sold nearly 300 cordless tool batteries and over 50 cordless tools to a Roseville resident, who resold the stolen merchandise online and at a local swap meet. Detectives estimated that Renowden sold at least $70,000 worth of stolen merchandise over the last eight months.
On July 28, Renowden was taken into custody in Sacramento County and booked at the Main Jail on felony charges, with more to follow. He is currently ineligible for bail and is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon (July 30).
On July 29, the Sacramento Sheriffโs Property Crimes Detectives, Sheriff POP Deputies, and Organized Retail Theft Investigators from Loweโs and Home Depot served search warrants at five locations in Placer and Sacramento Counties. During the searches, Investigators recovered over $16000 worth of Loweโs and Home Depot merchandise.
