UPDATE: At least one person was shot in Granada Hills Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting occurred in the 17300 block of Firma Court just after 12:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The Los Angeles Fire Department told KTLA that the attack occurred at a day care. The Kids Dream Learning Center is located on that block, though officials have not confirmed it as the site of the shooting.

Fire officials also said they transported two people to local hospitals, though information about the victims is limited. Police said there was only one victim, described as a female.

As for the shooter, he was found in his Tesla near Balboa Boulevard and Sherman Way, police said, and he was taken into custody.

7/21- USBP agents assisted Cameron County Constables Pct 5 during a traffic stop in San Pedro, TX. The driver presented a Mexican voter ID card as identification and then attempted to flee. This gang member did not get very far. USBP agents identified the man as a previously deported Mexican national with known ties to the Gulf Cartel and a prior arrest for assault. He was arrested and now faces prosecution for felony illegal re-entry.
