Another update for you on our efforts to defend the homeland and protect the American people from our foreign adversaries.

Alongside USAttyPirro, we announced that American citizen Christina Chapman was sentenced to 102 MONTHS in prison for DEFRAUDING 309 US companies and STEALING THE IDENTITIES of 68 Americans. She operated a โ€œlaptop farmโ€ from her home, generating more than $17 MILLION for North Korea to fund their nuclear weapons and evade our sanctions. With over 90 LAPTOPS in her home and 49 SHIPPED OVERSEAS, North Korean IT workers were not only earning money for the North Korean government but also accessing US companiesโ€™ networks and highly sensitive data.

To our private sector partners, remain on HIGH ALERT. This threat may already have invaded your company, and we urge you to look critically at your remote workforce. Your FBI released a public service announcement detailing ways you can protect yourselves, and if you suspect your business has been targeted contact us IMMEDIATELY by calling your local FBI field office or reporting it to our Internet Crime Complaint Center at IC3.gov.

North Korea is a THREAT to our economic and national security, and we will stop at NOTHING to crush our adversaries. For anyone else thinking about standing up a laptop farm, let what happened to Christina Chapman serve as a reminder that it is a BAD day to be a BAD guy in America. We WILL find you and bring you to justice.

Iโ€™d like to thank FBI Phoenix and FBI Chicago, the FBI Counterintelligence and Cyber Divisions, as well as our partners across the federal government at the StateDept, DHSgov, and IRS for their great work keeping American companies and American citizens safe.

God bless America, and all those who defend Her.

When words couldnโ€™t be spoken, a dispatcherโ€™s quick thinking saved a life.

A domestic violence victim in Nashville was trappedโ€”unable to speak, too afraid to call for help. She sent a single message: her address. Thatโ€™s all dispatcher Gabrielle โ€œGabbyโ€ Welborn needed.

Gabby fired off 46 messages, guiding officers to the scene and keeping the victim calm while she hid in a locked bathroom. She stayed with her until help arrived. Then came the words every survivor deserves to hear:
โ€œYou are worthy.โ€

A textbook response, from someone whoโ€™s been there herself.

This is the heart of public safety. Itโ€™s what we doโ€”on the streets, behind the scenes, in the moments that never make headlines.

To every officer and dispatcher: your work matters more than you know.

Keep showing up. Keep answering the call.

NEW๐Ÿ™ƒ: A defense attorney is trying to get charges against his client thrown out by arguing the Trump administration illegally maneuvered to keep Alina Habba as the stateโ€™s top federal prosecutor, despite the expiration of her 120-day tenure. The defense filing, made on Sunday, comes after days of confusion over who is leading the office because of complex and contested rules over filling vacancies.

In the motion, on behalf of a defendant in a drug and gun-related case, attorney Thomas Mirigliano said a workaround Trump officials found to keep Habba was โ€œirregularโ€ and unconstitutional.

In a nine-page filing, Mirigliano said his client is โ€œfacing an imminent criminal trial proceeding under questionable legal authorityโ€ and asked for the charges to be thrown out or that Habba and her assistants be barred from exercising further prosecutorial powers in the case.

The problems for the U.S. Attorneyโ€™s Office could grow if other defense attorneys open a flood gate of similar motions. Even if Habba eventually prevailed against legal challenges to her authority as acting U.S. Attorney, there could be months of uncertainty over whether the officeโ€™s criminal cases โ€” some 1,500 a year โ€” could be thrown out or otherwise undermined.

The Los Angeles Police Departmentโ€™s (LAPD) Force Investigation Division is investigating a Law Enforcement Related Injury (LERI) involving Metropolitan Division.

On June 10, 2025, at approximately 2:36 p.m., Metropolitan Division officers assigned to a protest in the Downtown area were moving an unruly crowd south on Alameda Street toward Temple Street. Several uncooperative demonstrators refused to leave the area and confronted officers on the skirmish line, including the suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Daniel Robert Bill.

After several commands to leave, Bill failed to cooperate by physically resisting and challenging officers. Officers used a combination of baton techniques and less-lethal munitions on Bill with no effect. Officers then used a team takedown to take Bill into custody without further incident. After being arrested, Bill complained of pain to his finger.

Bill was transported to a nearby hospital where it was determined that a finger on his left hand was broken, and the injury would require surgical intervention. The surgery was delayed and eventually rescheduled for the following day. As a result, Bill was admitted to the hospital for the fractured finger pending the surgical procedure.

Force Investigation Division (FID) investigators were notified of the hospitalization and are investigating this incident.
