Seattle, WA: The man is suspected of hitting a police officer with his vehicle in the Interbay area and then taking off to the South Lake Union neighborhood.

The man ditched the stolen vehicle near Terry Ave and Lenora Streets and then took off on foot. The situation drew a large police response to South Lake Union Thursday afternoon.

The officer had minor injuries.

The heat wave continues this weekend with numerous heat headlines in place for Saturday and Sunday.

During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening. 

The Director and I are committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations. It is a priority for us. But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned. 

We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not “my truth,” or “your truth,” but THE TRUTH.

Please, pray for LAPD officer who was injured in the line of duty last night.🙏🏻

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: At least one Los Angeles police officer was injured and taken to the hospital Friday night following a crash during a pursuit in the Willowbrook area.

The crash was reported near the intersection of 124th Street and Mona Boulevard.

A second officer was inside the LAPD vehicle involved in the collision, according to authorities. It's unclear if the second officer was injured.

The officers were reportedly involved in a pursuit before getting T-boned by another car. Police say the suspect took off.

It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved in the crash. At least one other person was injured in the incident.

Just spoke to the Prime Minister of Cambodia relative to stopping the War with Thailand. I am calling the Acting Prime Minister of Thailand, right now, to likewise request a Ceasefire, and END to the War, which is currently raging. We happen to be, by coincidence, currently dealing on Trade with both Countries, but do not want to make any Deal, with either Country, if they are fighting — And I have told them so! The call with Thailand is being made momentarily. The call with Cambodia has ended, but expect to call back regarding War stoppage and Ceasefire based on what Thailand has to say. I am trying to simplify a complex situation! Many people are being killed in this War, but it very much reminds me of the Conflict between Pakistan and India, which was brought to a successful halt.
