Three Chicago Police Department officers were hurt early Saturday morning when a woman allegedly crashed into a squad car while it was crossing an intersection on the city's South Side around 5:15 a.m.

According to police, a sedan - driven by a 23-year-old woman who allegedly ignored a traffic light - collided with the squad car. She is expected to be okay after being taken to a local hospital.

The three officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Wishing the officers a speedy recovery!🙏🏻
