Multiple arrests today during several different demonstrations in DTLA.  Most were peaceful but once again, as the evening approached, outside agitators began to cause issues. 

We are requesting that any and all acts of damage or vandalism be documented by photographs or video and forwarded to Central Division.

Our hearts go out to the people of Kerrville and the other cities in Texas, affected by the devastating flash flooding that has claimed dozens of lives. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department offers our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those lost. We appreciate the bravery and dedication of the first responders and volunteers working tirelessly to rescue those in need and maintain hope for those who are still missing.

BREAKING: Three federal & TX law enforcement sources tell me an active shooter with a rifle & tactical gear ambushed Border Patrol agents as they arrived at a Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, TX this morning. Local police and federal agents returned fire, killing him. I’m told this was a purposeful ambush/attack against federal agents and a press conference is planned for later this morning. No federal agents injured. Im told a McAllen police officer may have been shot, but is in stable condition.

Prayers for the Los Angeles police officer who was shot in the line of duty yesterday. 🙏🏻

LAPD News: An OIS investigation is underway in the area of 39th Place and Western Avenue. An officer was struck by gunfire and transported to Hosp in stable condition. The suspect was not injured and taken into custody.

DEVELOPING: Federal Agents are conducting a large scale raid operation at McArthur Park, Los Angeles.

This is absolutely infuriating…

Yet another ambush attack at an ICE facility, and another local police officer McAllen (TX) has been shot. Thankfully the officer is expected to recover, the suspect armed with a rifle, wearing body armor was neutralized…permanently.
