Alabama: A suspect was arrested after a police pursuit in Shelby County left an Alabama state trooper and a Calera police officer with injuries Wednesday afternoon, July 2.

It all started in Pelham where police said the suspect fled when one of their detectives tried to make contact.

At some point during the pursuit, authorities said a Calera police officer was stabbed and bitten by the suspect.

UPDATE: Sounds like there are 12 gunshot victims in this incident which took place at a nightclub at 311 W Chicago. Some of those may have refused transport which accounts for the discrepancy. Early reports are that at least one person may have been killed.

Such a turnaround when it comes to border/immigration.

A year and a half ago - w/ Dems in power, the bipartisan border deal was being negotiated, giving billions to NGOs, allowing thousands of crossings per day, keeping CBP One cell phone app etc.

Now, Dems will get nothing on immigration if OBBB passes, and ICE and Border Patrol will be supercharged with enormous funding at the same time many Dems are referring to federal immigration enforcement as the Gestapo & terrorists.

Republicans and Trump can move forward with their border security and mass deportation agenda without giving Democrats a single thing - and all Dems can do in reconciliation process is try to delay.
