NEW: ICE Los Angeles arrested Abel Urbina-Hernandez of Mexico, who illegally entered the United States on 7 occasions.

⚖️Urbina has criminal convictions for carrying a loaded handgun not registered to owner, DUI, driving while license suspended, and driving without a license.

Alabama: A suspect was arrested after a police pursuit in Shelby County left an Alabama state trooper and a Calera police officer with injuries Wednesday afternoon, July 2.

It all started in Pelham where police said the suspect fled when one of their detectives tried to make contact.

At some point during the pursuit, authorities said a Calera police officer was stabbed and bitten by the suspect.

They were struck by a suspected impaired driver, head on, who had previously fled from law enforcement. May they rest in peace.🙏🏻

Prayers also for their 4-month-old grandchild, also in the vehicle at the time of the crash and remains hospitalized in stable but serious condition. 🙏🏻

UPDATE: Sounds like there are 12 gunshot victims in this incident which took place at a nightclub at 311 W Chicago. Some of those may have refused transport which accounts for the discrepancy. Early reports are that at least one person may have been killed.
