Cartels have exploited Mexico-based financial institutions to move money, enabling the vicious fentanyl supply chain that has poisoned countless Americans.
Through the first use of a new powerful authority granted by Congress, Treasury will effectively require U.S. financial institutions to sever ties with 3 Mexico-based financial institutions for laundering money on behalf of cartels.
Both the United States and Mexico are committed to financial systems with strong anti-money laundering/countering the financing of terrorism controls and these actions affirm Treasuryβs commitment to using all tools at our disposal to counter the threat posed by terrorist organizations.

Fireworks Safety: United for a Safe Fourth
On June 25th, Assistant Sheriff Myron Johnson joined local elected officials, CAL FIRE, and other local fire and law enforcement executives from across Southern California at the LA City Fire Department's Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center for a fireworks safety press conference.
With the 4th of July rapidly approaching, the unified message was clear: Please celebrate your patriotism by attending professional fireworks shows and avoiding illegal fireworks. Leave the fireworks to the pros. Illegal fireworks put lives, homes, and communities at risk, especially in densely populated areas and neighborhoods with overgrown vegetation. LASD Assistant Sheriff Myron Johnson said, "This year, we are collaborating wholesomely with our public safety partners and encouraging all residents to celebrate by attending a professional fireworks show."
If you do plan to host your event, here are some quick Fourth of July Safety Tips:
β’ Check with your local city to see if fireworks are allowed in your neighborhood.
β’ Use only "Safe and sane," legal fireworks.
β’ Keep water or a fire extinguisher nearby
β’ Never aim fireworks at people, pets, or homes
β’ Closely supervise children
β’ Report illegal fireworks to local authorities
For more information regarding fireworks safety, please visit:

And again, please, keep it legal, keep it safe.

Under the Biden administration, Americans were left in the dark as millions of illegal aliens poured across our borderβincluding many known or suspected terrorists.
To restore transparency and accountability, DHS strongly supports passage of H.R. 275, the Special Interest Alien Reporting Act, which would require the Secretary of Homeland Security to produce regular reports on non-U.S. nationals of special interest who pose a risk to national security and try to enter the U.S. illegally.

Please, pray for the Delaware State Trooper who was seriously injured in the line of duty.ππ»
A Delaware State Trooper and a suspect were both seriously injured following two connected stolen car chases through Kent and Sussex Counties earlier this month.
The driver of one of the cars during the pursuit was a 10-year-old boy, according to police.
Investigators say Delaware State Police first observed a blue Hyundai Sonata following a blue Hyundai Santa Fe closely on Friday, June 20, at about 5 a.m. Both vehicles had Maryland plates, and a check revealed both had been reported stolen from Baltimore County, MD.
