NEW: An Off-duty San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputy shot and killed a murder suspect according to the City of Fontana Police Department after the suspect shot and killed 2 others. According to authorities, the off-duty deputy witnessed the shooting and intervened, shooting the suspect. The two victims, who remain unidentified, were pronounced dead at a local hospital. Investigation is continuing.

Incredibly thankful to report that our Trooper is alert, in good spirits, and will be OK after her cruiser was struck last night in Omaha. The trooper was inside the vehicle, parked, with emergency lights activated, when the cruiser was struck by a passing truck.
The trooper was injured and is currently being treated at the hospital, but thankfully none of the injuries are thought to be serious at this time.
