Over the past week, our community has experienced a large number of demonstrations throughout Orange County. We have deployed significant resources to support our partner agencies and keep our community safe. While some demonstrations remained peaceful, others turned violent, putting our local police officers and residents at risk.

During a recent protest in Santa Ana, some individuals chose to break the law and threw bottles at Santa Ana Police Department officers. Fortunately, our Real-Time Operations Center (RTOC) was actively monitoring this protest to virtually assist Santa Ana PD. When the suspects fled,  RTOC accessed city-owned cameras to locate the suspects. RTOC deputies were able to quickly guide Santa Ana officers to the suspects, who were arrested on assault charges.

This is yet another example of how the RTOC utilizes real-time coordination to enhance public safety and support our local law enforcement partners, keeping Orange County a safe place for all.

I am very happy to report that I have arranged, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a wonderful Treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Republic of Rwanda, in their War, which was known for violent bloodshed and death, more so even than most other Wars, and has gone on for decades. I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for this, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between India and Pakistan, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for stopping the War between Serbia and Kosovo, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for keeping Peace between Egypt and Ethiopia (A massive Ethiopian built dam, stupidly financed by the United States of America, substantially reduces the water flowing into The Nile River), and I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize for doing the Abraham Accords in the Middle East which, if all goes well, will be loaded to the brim with additional Countries signing on, and will unify the Middle East for the first time in “The Ages!” No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!

MS-13 GANG MEMBER APPREHENDED!

6/13- In Santa Teresa, NM, USBP agents apprehended a Mexican national tied to the violent MS-13 gang with a criminal history and several deportations. He previously served a total of 3 1/2 years in prison for felony illegal re-entry but clearly has not learned his lesson. Once again, he's facing prosecution for felony illegal re-entry (8USC1326).

Nebraska: Immigrations and Customs Enforcement gave an update on Wednesday’s operation in Bellevue on Friday.

According to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, 30-year-old Gabriel Hurtado-Cariaco was charged on a criminal complaint with one count of attempted murder of a federal officer.

According to the release, Hurtado-Cariaco, allegedly a citizen of Venezuela residing illegally in Bellevue and a member of Tren de Aragua, was stopped while driving in Bellevue.

After he stopped, Hurtado-Cariaco exited the vehicle with his hands in the air, and the agents gave commands to him and attempted to put him in handcuffs.

During this attempt, Hurtado-Cariaco began to fight with one agent that left both of the men on the ground.

After the arrest, the injured agent was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

NEW: ICE Denver arrested Darvin Mendez-Barrios, a criminal alien from Guatemala. He has convictions for menacing and aggravated assault on a police officer. He will be held in ICE custody pending the outcome of an immigration hearing.

The Kiefer Police Department, Oklahoma, sadly announced the unexpected death of Officer Robert Schiavone. He passed away suddenly on June 18 while celebrating his 20th wedding anniversary.

BREAKING: Violent confrontations breaking out involving federal immigration authorities in the City of Bell and Maywood.

Per federal sources, Border Patrol & HSI agents in the city of Maywood were targeted in two separate hit & run incidents this afternoon, in which suspects rammed into their vehicles. One federal vehicle was left disabled, and I’m told one suspect is in custody so far.

⚠️Tornado Warning including Harding County, SD until 6:30 PM MDT

Nebraska: A Butler County deputy sustained serious injuries after their vehicle was struck by a pickup early Wednesday morning, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said the deputy’s vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by another vehicle just south of the intersection of Highway 81 and Highway 92 at 1:50 a.m.

The sheriff’s office said the deputy’s vehicle was stationary at the time of the crash, and that the driver of the other vehicle was travelling southbound on Highway 81 going through the intersection of Highway 92.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital. The deputy was later taken to Lincoln due to injuries sustained.
