NEW: The owner of a family-owned jewelry store is sharing her frustration and concerns after losing hundreds of thousands of dollars to two smash-and-grab burglaries in two months.

Zee Jewelers is inside the Solano Town Center in Fairfield and has been there for about 15 years. Back in April, the owner said a group of thieves smashed two of their display cases and stole more than $150,000 worth of jewelry.

Michigan: A Warren police officer and two civilians were injured Thursday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Dequindre Rd and John B Ave.

The crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. on June 12 and involved a Warren patrol vehicle and a Chevrolet HHR SUV, according to local authorities.

Emergency responders from Warren Fire and EMS arrived quickly on scene to treat those involved.

The officer and both occupants of the Chevrolet—two adult females—sustained minor injuries in the collision. All three were transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.
