Texas: Officer Shot While Assisting Firefighters at Active Scene.

Earlier today, a Beaumont Police officer was shot while assisting the Beaumont Fire Department at the scene of a house fire on Fillmore Street. Officers were blocking traffic so firefighters could work safely when gunfire erupted.

One officer was struck. Two others returned fire, striking the suspect, who later died at the hospital. Thankfully, the injured officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and has been released from the hospital.

BREAKING: USBP Chief ELC Gregory Bovino says Border Patrol agents were reportedly assaulted within the last few hours while they were conducting immigration enforcement in El Monte, California.

Windows were allegedly broken in one of the transport vans by protesters—An agent may also have been bitten by an illegal immigrant, this is still being investigated.

The chief says they are working with Bill Essayli office to determine if federal charges are warranted.

Chief Bovino says, “We are going to vigorously pursue prosecutions for anyone who assaults, impedes, threatens or wishes to harm a border patrol agent, we have already done it 9 times.”

Tricia Ohio said before the protests that assaults on agents and officers are up 413%.

Oregon: Fueled by wind gusts and dry conditions in the Columbia River Gorge, the Rowena Fire quickly grew to 3,500 acres by Thursday morning, forcing many nearby residents to evacuate their homes overnight.

The Northwest Interagency Coordination Center confirmed that the fire, which broke out Wednesday afternoon, is human-caused.

NWCC also stated that 20 residences have been destroyed, with nearly 2,200 more structures threatened by the flames.

Amid reports of some people stopping along Interstate 84 and walking into evacuation zones, Wasco County Sheriff Lane Magill warned people to stay away from the active fire area.

"Don't go in off the highway, don't go into the Level 3 area. It's very, very dangerous. We have rock slide dangers, I just witnessed a tree falling over ... so we want everybody to be staying out of there," said Sheriff Magill.

Person taken into custody was related to items being thrown at Federal Police/National Guard including a firework/mortar.

Wisconsin: 12 News sources say a police officer was shot near the intersection of 46th and Hampton. This is in the Hampton Heights neighborhood, officer has been shot in the leg.

We will continue to update this story when more information is provided about the officer's condition, what led up to the shooting, if anyone else is injured and if there have been any arrests.

The Huntingburg Police Department, Indiana, sadly announced the death of retired K-9 Ester. She was a 11 years old, retired in 2022 after nearly seven years of service. Following her retirement, she lived with Officer Byrd’s family.

Here’s what he said:

President Trump was aware of the strikes beforehand. There were no surprises, but the US was NOT involved militarily and hopes Iran will return to the negotiating table.
 
President Trump:
“Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb and we are hoping to get back to the negotiating table. We will see. There are several people in leadership that will not be coming back.” (A reference to some of the Iranian leaders who were killed tonight by Israel.)
 
Pres Trump has spoken to PM Netanyahu several times in recent days.
 
The Trump Administration reached out to at least one key Middle Eastern ally to acknowledge that the strike was going to happen but that the US was not involved in the strikes and the goal is still to get Iran back to the negotiating table.
 
The President is looking to see if there is retaliation, CENTCOM is on high alert, The US will defend itself and Israel if Iran retaliates.
 
He said I hope they get back to the negotiating table.
 
The US has replenished Iron Dome missiles in recent weeks, according to administration officials.
 
US officials confirm a number of top Iranian leaders are dead after the strikes.
 
Again, the US military was not involved in any way in these strikes, but clearly the administration knew about the Israeli plans in advance and was not surprised.
