Georgia: Officer Dustin Krish was hit by a car while directing traffic and thrown across multiple lanes. He was airlifted to the hospital and is now in serious but stable condition at Wellstar in Marietta.

This happened in the middle of the day on Highway 27—he was out there helping a local utility company when everything changed in an instant.

Officer Krish has been with the department for years, and right now, his family and fellow officers are rallying around him.

The driver stayed on scene, and Georgia State Patrol is investigating what happened.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: NYC - Around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, at least eight NYPD vehicles went up in flames in a suspected arson at a police parking lot near DeKalb and Central Avenues, close to the 83rd Precinct.

Some vehicles were also vandalized, and officers reported a strong smell of gasoline. The fire is under investigation, with surveillance footage being reviewed. Nearby cruisers were relocated as a precaution.

Happening Now: "Protesters" descended on several hotels across Los Angeles County, responding to social media reports that ICE agents were staying at those businesses.

Georgia: A Sautee man remains at large after an officer-involved shooting in Habersham County that left a deputy injured early Wednesday.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Jonathan William Harris, 34, was pulled over by a Habersham County Sheriff’s Office deputy near Juniper Trail in Toccoa at around 3:30 a.m.

Harris was reportedly driving a truck pulling a trailer, with two flat tires, that was reported stolen out of Hall County.

The truck stopped at the end of Juniper Trail, and as the deputy got out of his patrol car, Harris rammed into the patrol car, which caused it to hit the deputy and knock him to the ground.
