The FBI has identified the man wanted for assaulting a federal officer this weekend as Elpidio Reyna, 40, of Compton, CA. He is considered a fugitive and we continue to seek his location. A reward of up to $50K is being offered for information leading to his arrest/conviction.

January 14, 2021. Newsom announces he is deploying 1,000 National Guard members to help the California Highway Patrol protect the CA State Capitol from "insurrectionists" during the week leading up to Biden's inauguration.

"Let me be clear. There will be no tolerance for violence."

Newsom is now suing Trump for using the National Guard to protect CA from actual violence and real threats.
