A Prince George's County Police officer was taken to the hospital after a crash in Brandywine, Maryland, according to police officials.

The collision happened at approximately 9:10 a.m. at the intersection of northbound Crain Highway and Missouri Avenue. The officer was riding a police motorcycle at the time.

The two occupants of the other vehicle were unharmed. The officer was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We're keeping the officer in our thoughts and wishing a speedy recovery. 🙏🏻

JUST IN: 2 motorcycles have driven directly into the LAPD skirmish line injuring officers, per News Source LA.

This was a deliberate attack.  Officers injured, suspects arrested.
