BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Flames engulf former Westlake neighborhood private school for 2nd time.

Crews were called to a “Greater Alarm” structure fire that erupted for the second time at a former private school in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles early Tuesday morning.

NEW: Turkish citizen Mehmet CERANCI for violation of his immigration status. CERANCI entered the U.S. on an F1 student visa and failed to attend his academic program, choosing to work without proper authorization.

UPDATE: The shooting suspect, Thomas Tolbert, is in custody.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) has now canceled the Kansas Blue Alert that was issued after law enforcement were searching for a suspect believed to have shot a Lee’s Summit police officer Sunday night.

The alert was canceled Tuesday morning, June 3, after Thomas Eugene Tolbert, 27, was located and apprehended in Ellis, Kansas.

The Kentucky State Police sadly announced the death of Driver Test Administrator Angela Pitts-Johnson.

She passed away on May 23 after a hard-fought battle with colorectal cancer.
