NEW: The State Department is now scrutinizing ALL visa holders associated with Harvard, not just student visas, senior State Dept official tells FoxNews. That includes B-1 (business), B-2 (tourist), and any others. FOX is told it will be a substantive investigation aimed at identifying potential security vulnerabilities or other abuses of the visa system.

A high-speed crash shook a San Fernando Valley neighborhood, sending 2 people to the hospital and damaging 8 vehicles.

LAPD says the two-car collision took down a street light and left a trail of destruction, with a Ford SUV slamming into a yard and a Camaro smashing through parked cars. Neighbors say the intersection has long been plagued by reckless driving and are now calling for a traffic signal before someone else gets seriously hurt or worse. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

An Arkansas state capitol police officer was injured in an early-morning crash on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for Arkansas Secretary of State Cole Jester said the 6:30 a.m. crash took place in Bryant as the officer was on his way to work in a Capitol Police Department vehicle. The spokesperson continued that the man, who was not identified, reported that an 18-wheeler struck his vehicle as it merged onto the Interstate from an on-ramp.

He reported the 18-wheeler did not stop.

The spokesperson said the officer had some bruising and a concussion as a result of the crash. He was checked out at the hospital and is now resting at home.

NYC: Dozens of "protesters" were arrested outside a Manhattan immigration court Wednesday hours after ICE detained several people in its NYC field office & days after a pro-Hamas school student was arrested by ICE at his immigration hearing.

Ohio: Two Mifflin Township police officers were shot Wednesday night and law enforcement officials said the “armed and dangerous” suspect remains on the loose. Two Columbus police officers were also injured in a crash while responding to the officer in trouble call, both are in stable condition.

Franklin County Sheriff Dallas Baldwin said the incident started during a traffic stop at approximately 6:45 p.m. in the area of Perdue Avenue and Mecca Road near the northeast side of Columbus.

During the traffic stop, the passenger in the vehicle ran from the scene. As officers gave chase, the passenger turned and shot at them, hitting them. Baldwin said the shooting was “unprovoked.”

Baldwin cautioned anyone in the area of Perdue Avenue and Mecca Road to be careful as the suspect is considered “armed and dangerous” and to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement. He added that a firearm was recovered in the area, but did not know if it was the gun used by the suspect.

Brian Steel, the president of the Fraternal Order of Police, confirmed that the officers were taken to a local hospital for treatment; one officer was in critical condition, the other in a stable condition.

Steel also confirmed via social media that two Columbus police officers were in a stable condition after crashing their cruiser while responding to the officer-in-trouble call.
