BREAKING: The Justice Department is launching an investigation in California to determine whether Title IX is being violated by trans athletes competing in girls sports.
This comes the day after President Trump threatened to pull federal funding from CA, if AB Hernandez, a transgender athlete at Jurupa Valley H.S., competes later this week in the State Finals.
On Wednesday, letters of legal notice were sent to CA AG Rob Bonta, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), and the Jurupa Unified School District βTo advance the appropriate interpretation of Title IX to ensure equal educational opportunities and prevent discrimination based on sex in federally funded schools and athletic programs.β
Currently, California law requires schools to allow transgender athletes to participate in sports consistent with their gender identity.
In response, Assistant AG Harmeet Dhillon says, βTitle IX exists to protect women and girls in education. It is perverse to allow males to compete against girls, invade their private spaces, and take their trophies.β
U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says, βThe law is clear: Discrimination on the basis of sex is illegal and immoral. My office and the rest of the Department of Justice will work tirelessly to protect girlsβ sports and stop anyone - public officials included- from violating womenβs civil rights.β

AUTO BURGLARY CREW BUSTED: Last month, officers spotted an auto break-in crew in San Francisco. With the help of SFPD drones, officers in our RTIC were able to locate and track the suspect vehicle through Twin Peaks. Drone pilots watched the vehicle and coordinated with officers on the ground, who were then able to follow and disable the vehicle and apprehend the suspects. Teamwork in action!

More ways Minneapolis OCS and Minneapolis PD are concealing crime.
A follower tells us they called 911 this afternoon to report some suspicious characters in ski masks near Bde Maka Ska/Calhoun.
The 911 call was the entry listed on the dashboard as "receive information" (pic 1). Which means the dispatcher didn't assign a squad to look, they just put out information to squads to be aware.
And there was a robbery just 9 minutes later (from the time of the 911 call at 2:22 p.m.), just blocks away (pic 1).
Of course, no useful information is contained on the dashboard, like suspect or vehicle info.
Also, as far as we can tell, the *helpful new 911 dashboard* (pic 1) isn't listing carjackings as such, it's just listing them as robberies. Which is BS. If you compare to the existing MPD crime dashboard (pic 3), it shows 16 carjackings so far this month. We don't recall seeing any listings for "carjacking" on the new 911 dashboard since it went into effect on May 1, and we check it multiple times a day, every line.
It matters because we can't see at a glance when and where carjackings are happening TODAY with the new 911 database (now that encryption is in effect).
Yes, there's yet another "Open Data" city database that lists carjackings and other crimes (pic 4), but that lags by at least several DAYS. That's useless safety information.
