NEW: Three people shot in the 3400 block of 13th Place Southeast in Washington, DC, on Monday, May 26, 2025.

Monday afternoon around 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 3400 block of 13th Place, Southeast. Officers arrived and found two adult men inside of an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. One adult man was pronounced dead on the scene. The second man was transported to a hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. A third shooting patient was located in the 1300 block of Savannah Street, Southeast and was transported to an area hospital conscious and breathing for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

Police are searching for a black 2021 Gensis with heavy tint and Virginia temporary tags.

Please, pray for the two Los Angeles police officers who were injured in the line of duty this afternoon. 🙏🏻

One person is dead and two police officers were hospitalized after a violent car crash in Sun Valley, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The 70-year-old victim was trapped in the car and had to be extricated by firefighters. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The officers were transported to the hospital in unknown conditions.

Louisiana: A Baton Rouge police officer and an accompanying passenger were hospitalized Monday morning after the BRPD patrol vehicle caught fire following a collision.

BRPD Cpl. Saundra Watts said the incident occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of East Harrison Street and Thomas Delpit Drive. Watts said another car pulled in front of the police vehicle, causing a crash that sparked a small fire beneath the patrol car. Both the officer and the passenger were quickly pulled from the burning vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital.

Both victims appear to have been in stable condition as of Monday evening.

Massachusetts: In a fight incident in Mattapan on Sunday afternoon a responding officer was injured and sent to the hospital, Boston Police stated.

At about 12:19 p.m., BPD stated, an officer was conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of Westmore Road and Gilmer Street in Mattapan.

During the stop, a struggle ensued with the suspect, and an officer was injured, the department said. The cop was taken to a local hospital with “non-life threatening injuries,” BPD stated.
