South Carolina: A Horry County police officer was one of two people taken to the hospital after an overnight crash near Holmestown Road and Highway 17 Bypass, a spokesperson told News13.
The officer was treated at a local hospital and released after their vehicle and another vehicle crashed at about 1:30 a.m. Horry County Fire Rescue said “extrication operations” were needed, but that the victims’ injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
