NEW: Influencer in Mexico shot dead during livestream.

Valeria Márquez, a 23-year-old beauty influencer with nearly 200,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, was shot and killed Tuesday during a live TikTok broadcast from her salon in Zapopan, Mexico, authorities said

Montana: A Billings police officer was seriously injured by a man who attacked her.

Police said in a press release issued Thursday morning that the attack happened Wednesday at a downtown parking garage on North Broadway.

Officer Hope Reid was sent to the parking garage after police received a report of a man armed with a knife who was trespassing at that location.

Reid "contacted the suspect to get him to leave," the press release states. "The suspect then violently attacked the officer causing serious injuries."

Reid, who has been on the department for four years, was taken to a Billings hospital where she was treated and later released.

The Fountain Valley Police Department released a critical incident briefing video of an officer involved shooting which occurred on January 24th of this year.

The attached video shows the suspect in a fight with multiple officers and eventually taking the gun of a responding female officer. The suspect, Osean McClintock, was then shot and killed while attempting to steal a police car. Viewer discretion is advised.
