An early morning home invasion in L.A.’s Westwood neighborhood turned violent when four suspects broke into a residence near Lindbrook Drive around 5:10 a.m. Wednesday. The suspects fled after confronting an on-site security officer—allegedly attempting to run him over, prompting him to fire shots in response. One suspect was taken into custody while the others remain on the run. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as LAPD continues its investigation.

BREAKING: Austin Police have arrested a 17-year-old in the murder of InfoWars reporter Jamie White.

Eloy Adrian Camarillo is one of four suspects connected to the shooting, according to an arrest warrant.

He’s being charged with capital murder by terror threat/other felony on a $250,000 bond, court records state.

White was attempting to stop four suspects from burglarizing his car in his apartment complex parking lot.

He was fatally shot when he confronted the suspects.

Court records list Camarillo as a “co-conspirator” in the deadly shooting.

Illinois: Chicago police officers and two young children were among those injured in a car crash Wednesday evening on the city's South Side.

The crash happened around 6:376 p.m. in the 5900 block of South Racine Avenue in Englewood, Chicago Police Department officials said.

A vehicle driven by a 32-year-old woman was traveling in a turn lane on 59th Street when it struck a CPD squad car, with emergency lights on, that was traveling on Racine, police said.

The woman was injured a taken to a hospital in fair condition, CPD said. The male police officer, whose age was not shared, was taken to a hospital in good condition with injuries to his left shoulder and hand.

NEW: The man who police say helped organize and promote illegal car meetups in Philadelphia last month, which quickly descended into chaos, has been arrested.

The meetups drew hundreds of people to the city, leading to reckless driving and other dangerous behavior overnight between Sept. 21 and Sept. 22. One police officer was injured.

"This is a very significant arrest today. He's pretty much the top of the organization when it comes to planning the event," said Lt Dennis Rosenbaum of the Philadelphia Police Dept. "This has been a month-long investigation with several more arrests to come."

Nevada: A Deputy Sheriff with the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office injured in a motorcycle crash has died.

Tristan Redmond was involved in an off-duty motorcycle crash on May 2.

He was flown to Renown and succumbed to his injuries on May 13.

Redmond had been with the CCSO for the last four years, serving as a Field Training Officer and secretary of the Churchill County Sheriff’s Deputies Association.

On Mother’s Day, off-duty Killeen Fire Captain Marvin Taylor had just left a hospital in Austin, Texas after his wife gave birth to their fifth child. Captain Taylor was driving to pick up the couple’s four other children to introduce them to their new sibling. That was when another vehicle struck the rear of Marvin’s van at a high rate of speed. An officer from the Austin Police Department was nearby when the collision occurred and provided aid to the gravely injured firefighter until EMS arrived. Tragically, Captain Taylor succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The other driver was arrested and has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the crash.

Captain Marvin Taylor III proudly served the Killeen Fire Department since 2014. He was promoted to the rank of Fire Captain in July of 2024, and was assigned to the Training Division as the Operations Training Captain. He held numerous fire certifications including Swift Water Boat Operator, Advanced Structural Firefighter, Fire Officer 1, and most recently obtaining TCFP Field Examiner. Marvin was also a member of the Texas A&M Task Force 1 Water Rescue Team, Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) Wildland Team. He deployed many times with both teams to various large-scale incidents both in state and outside on Texas.
