A police Officer has the right defend himself against a violent and armed criminal.

I stand with Officer Christopher Schurr.

State Representative Jim DeSana

The San Bernardino Police Department sadly announced the death of retired K9 officer Sarko.

K9 Sarko joined SBPD in August 2013 and served our community with unmatched loyalty and courage until his retirement in December 2019. A dual-purpose K9, Sarko was trained in both patrol and narcotics. Over his decorated career, he:

🔹 Deployed over 500 times
🔹 Located 90 suspects
🔹 Recovered 25 critical pieces of evidence
🔹 Seized over $1 million in narcotics
🔹 Trained more than 2,000 hours

Prayers for his partner, their family and the agency. 🙏🏻
