Boise Democrats Defy Idaho Law!

Idaho’s HB 96, signed in April 2025, bans non-official flags like the Pride flag on government buildings, allowing only local, state, and federal flags. Boise’s Democratic Mayor Lauren McLean and the City Council openly opposed it, passing a resolution on May 7, 2025, to make the Pride flag an “official city flag”—a clear workaround to keep flying it. Idaho AG Raúl Labrador sent a warning letter, but the law lacks enforcement, so Boise isn’t backing down. X users are outraged, accusing Democrats of pushing an LGBTQ agenda, disregarding state law, and bringing progressive California influence to Idaho. In response, conservatives are planning a “Heterosexual Awesomeness Fest” in Boise on June 20-21, 2025, to push back.

We just submitted our motion with the Eleventh Circuit to stay Judge Williams’s attempt to stop Florida’s support for President Trump’s agenda on illegal immigration.

As the late Justice Scalia once said, “If securing its territory in this fashion is not within the power of [Florida], we should cease referring to it as a sovereign State.”

My office will fight this judge’s order to the top if we must and continue being the Trump administration's best partner in the mission to remove every illegal alien and protect our state and nation’s sovereignty.
