Ole Miss student, 22, leaves court after his arrest on suspicion of murdering his classmate, 21, found 'shot eight times' at a lake 20 miles from campus. Ally Kostial, 21, was discovered Saturday morning near Sardis Lake in Mississippi. Brandon Theesfeld (center, today, and left in Army cadet uniform and taking part in target practice) was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday afternoon. Sources close to the investigation have said she was shot eight times. Ally is understood to have been last seen on the security cameras outside a bar. Kostial is then said to have gone home around midnight before leaving again.

China accused US officials of being behind violent protests in Hong Kong and advised them to remove their 'black hands' from the territory. Beijing's main office in the city was vandalised on Sunday. 'We can see that US officials are even behind such incidents,' said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying at a regular press briefing on Tuesday when asked about the protests. 'So can the officials tell the world what role did they play and what are their aims?' Hua asked.
Two teenagers who were previously described as missing have been named as suspects in the murders of an American woman and her Australian boyfriend in Canada. Police named Canadian teens Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, as suspects in the murders of Lucas Fowler, 24, and Chynna Deese, 23, on Tuesday. The two teenagers were described as missing on Monday but police named them as suspects after they were found, alive, in northern British Columbia. Now, they are believed to be in Saskatchewan - 1156 miles from where the young couple's bodies were found - and are thought to be dangerous. 👮🏻‍♂️ #wanted

An Ohio police officer has been hailed a hero after performing successful CPR on a three week old baby. Officer Evan Estep was called to a Sandusky home last Thursday, after a traumatized mom call 911 to report that her infant son was not breathing. A bodycam attached to Epstep's vest captured the harrowing ordeal, which began with the officer finding the baby laying on the grass outside the property. 👮🏻‍♂️
