Rollins sent this letter to the Mexican government today, threatening to restrict all animal imports from MX into the U.S. at ports of entry, including cattle & bison, if the MX government doesn’t begin to cooperate fully with the U.S. in its efforts to stop the spread of the New World screw worm, a flesh eating fly that is spreading north from Central America & southern Mexico. The pest can be devastating to the cattle population.

NEW: A small plane crashed early this afternoon in White County, Tennessee.
All three people aboard are deceased. Witnesses say the plane came down in a field hitting a creek bank off of Almyra Road.
Authorities are on scene and both the NTSB and FAA have been notified and are enroute.
No word yet on the cause or the origin or destination of the plane … or the names of those onboard.

The DC Fire And EMS regrettably announced the Line-of-Duty death of Technician Stephen W. Shipp, Jr. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, due to an occupational illness.
Technician Shipp's service to the Dept. began on 4/19/2004 as a member of Recruit Class 336. Shipp was appointed to Engine 33 and later transferred to Truck 7/Platoon 4 where he served for the remainder of his career, becoming a Technician on 10/11/2020.
It takes a rare kind of person to dedicate their life to protecting others, and an even rarer one to do so with humility, humor, and heart. Technician Shipp brought all of that and more to the firehouse, to our community, and to the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him.
Rest In Peace, Hero 💔🖤

The victim confronted the suspect but not sure if the suspect was taken into custody. The victim stated even if he does get arrested they will let him out immediate and he fears he will do it again.
