NEW: Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden says he witnessed ICE arrest someone outside the Mecklenburg County courthouse yesterday.

He tells @wsoctv he expects ICE to continue to make these arrests outside of court. He's now creating a policy for courthouse arrests.

ICE tells me the agency will be releasing more information about the arrest soon.

Michigan: A Dearborn Heights police officer was injured in a crash at Telegraph and Warren earlier today while responding to a reported bank robbery.

The officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the other vehicle involved also sustained minor injuries.

NEW: The man believed to be driving an ATV that came down on top of a police officer in Kansas City before he sped off is now behind bars and faces several charges.

Jackson County, Missouri, Prosecutor Melesa Johnson announced on Wednesday, April 23, that charges have been filed against Kendall S. Coleman, 27, in connection with the ATV hit-and-run that seriously injured a Kansas City Police Department officer.

Coleman now faces charges of assault in the first-degree, armed criminal action and aggravated fleeing a stop.
