Florida: A West Palm PD police officer is recovering after being injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday.

Police say the officer was getting into his patrol car when a white SUV hit the vehicle, causing the officer to be thrown to the ground. The driver of the SUV took off from the scene without stopping.

Deputy injured, suspects still wanted after reported theft at Colorado Target.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said they’re searching for three suspects after an officer’s foot was run over after a reported theft.

The sheriff’s office said around 1:44 p.m. on Monday, deputies responded to a reported theft at a Target in Superior. Deputies said they found the suspect vehicle, a gold GMC Yukon with no license plate, in a parking lot nearby.

The sheriff’s office said two white adult females, a white adult male and a black and white mixed border collie were inside the vehicle. As the deputy was getting information, they said the driver fled the scene, running over the deputy’s foot.

Michigan: On the afternoon of April 21, 2025, Eaton County Central Dispatch received a 911 call from a passerby reporting a young male attempting to hang himself from a tree near the intersection of N. Royston Road and E. Vermontville Highway.

An Eaton County Sergeant and a Deputy in training were en route to a separate call when they realized they were in close proximity to the scene. Recognizing the urgency, they immediately diverted to respond.

Upon arrival, they found the individual with a rope around his neck, moments away from jumping. The officers quickly maneuvered their patrol vehicle directly beneath the subject. The Deputy held the individual up while the Sergeant climbed onto the hood of the vehicle and safely cut the rope, preventing a tragedy.

The individual was not physically injured and was transported by Windsor Township Emergency Services for evaluation.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for an alleged kidnapping suspect in the Mid-City area.

Arkansas: Two Rogers police officers were injured on Tuesday morning after one accidentally fired a gun, according to the department.

RPD said in a news release that an officer who was preparing to clean a firearm accidentally fired it. The officer who fired the shot was hit in the leg, and the same round hit another officer in the foot.

The department said neither officer has life-threatening injuries and both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
