Update: An investigation is underway after chainsaw-wielding vandals apparently chopped down several trees in downtown Los Angeles over the weekend. 

Pictures of the downed trees circulated on social media, showing the hacked trees along South Grand Avenue between First Street and Wilshire Boulevard. 

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told City News Service on Sunday that the watch commander had no knowledge of the incidents or of a report being taken, and that police were not reviewing footage at this time.

The Asheville NC Police Department sadly announced the death of K9 Officer Bolo.

Bolo passed away due to an aggressive and fast-moving medical condition. Officer Bolo came to the APD in 2018, and immediately into the highly capable arms of Senior Police Officer Nathaniel Smith.

Prayers for Bolo’s partner, their family and the agency. 🙏🏽

A vandal or vandals took a chainsaw to more than a dozen trees in downtown L.A. over the weekend and, at least for the moment, police have no leads in the case.

Michigan: Video captures the moments Warren police busted suspects breaking into a warehouse.

The incident occurred on 10 Mile and Ryan early Friday morning around 3:00 a.m.

As police were getting ready to enter the building, one of the suspects was coming outside. Two suspects were taken into custody.
