NEW: Two young siblings, Avaora (9) and Hrant (7), who were allegedly abducted by their father have been safely reunited with their family.

LAPD stated the children were picked up from their elementary school by their biological father, Rodion Kolomoeits, who recently lost custody. Investigators say Rodion was last seen crossing into Mexico in a gray 2016 Toyota Prius and may be attempting to return to Ukraine. Update: An executive of Siemens, a European technology company, his wife and young children were aboard the tourist helicopter that plunged into New York City's Hudson River on Thursday, leaving no survivors.

Agustin Escobar, his wife, Merce Camprubi Montal, and their children -- aged 4, 5 and 11 years old -- have been identified as victims in the crash along with the pilot, aged 36, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

Escobar was named as the head of Siemens' division in Spain and Southwest Europe in 2022, according to a press release from the technology conglomerate.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) is investigating an officer-involved shooting involving the Capitol Police Department that occurred in the area of I-55 and McDowell Road on April 10, 2025.

A Capitol Police officer was conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle on McDowell Road when another unrelated vehicle approached and opened fire on the officer. The officer discharged his weapon, striking the subject, who then fled the scene. The subject stopped at a nearby gas station and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A K-9 inside the officer’s patrol vehicle was also struck during the incident. The extent of the K-9’s injuries is unknown at this time. The Capitol Police officer was not seriously physically injured.

The past few days have been difficult for everyone as we support one another and Sgt. West's family. We are thankful to share that Sgt. West is showing signs of improvement and is more stable than he was in the couple of days following the accident. However, he still faces a long road to recovery.

Two crashes involving a VDOT safety patrol vehicle and a Virginia State Police car occurred within minutes of each other on I-64 Thursday morning.

In the first incident, a woman rear-ended the VDOT vehicle while a worker was stopped on the road to remove a tire.

In the second incident, a state trooper was stopped due to a dislodged trailer on the highway when they were rear-ended, causing a multi-car crash.

Both the VDOT worker and trooper were injured, as were the drivers, though none of the injuries are serious.

The Common Sense Department has some advice to share on how to stay in the good graces of the Democrat Party: stay away from Trump or it will be a disaster.

Minnesota: Authorities say a juvenile and a state trooper were two of several people injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver Wednesday night in Clear Lake.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded just after 9 p.m. to reports of a wrong-way driver on Highway 10 near 70th Avenue Southeast. The vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Highway 10 and 70th Avenue, and the trooper responding to the incident then collided with one or both vehicles.

Authorities say a juvenile was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The state trooper was among four who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
