A Connecticut man has been arrested on suspicion of abducting and sexually assaulted 12-year-old girl after DNA from cigarette butts linked him to the crime. Police from Webster, Massachusetts, arrested Joshua Besaw, 35, of Thompson, Connecticut, at his home on Wednesday morning after a two-month investigation. The arrest came after DNA traces from cigarette butts he dropped, gathered by detectives tailing him, matched a sample taken from the victim.👮🏻♂️

The site had been experiencing spotty troubles since the early morning hours on Thursday, but it all came to a head around 11:30 am (ET) when the outages appeared to spike. Thousands of reports have since come in from the US and UK, along with parts of Russia, Malaysia, and India. On the app, users have been stuck unable to refresh their feeds.
The Trump administration is planning to send 500 U.S. troops to Saudi Arabia to bolster the kingdom's defenses against Iran. CNN reported Thursday that the Prince Sultan Air Base, in a desert east of Riyadh, will get a Patriot missile battery and an upgraded airfield runway. A small number of troops and support staff are already there. The Pentagon intends to fly stealth F-22 Raptor jets and other aircraft from the base. Its remote location is thought to be difficult for Iranian missiles to strike.
