The president took a break from official business surrounding the 75th anniversary of D-Day to sit down with Fox News' Laura Ingraham in Normandy, France. He praised the incredible 'bravery and valor' displayed by the heroes who fought in the landmark battle of World War II before launching into a harsh rebuke of California Democrat Pelosi. 'I think she's a disgrace. I actually don't think she's a talented person, I've tried to be nice to her because I would have liked to have gotten some deals done,' Trump said. 'She's incapable of doing deals, she's a nasty, vindictive, horrible person, the Mueller report came out, it was a disaster for them.'

Father who murdered his five children because 'his wife cheated on him' weeps as family photos and grisly crime scene images are shown to jury that will decide if he is sentenced to death. The first day of a sentencing hearing for Timothy Jones Jr was held in Lexington, South Carolina, on Thursday, two days after he was convicted in the 2014 killings of his five children. Prosecutors told the jury that Jones deserves to die for how he made his children suffer in a carefully crafted plan that would leave no witnesses and help him avoid prison. The defense asked jurors to have mercy on Jones and choose life in prison without parole because 'God could use people in dark places.'

A flash flood watch is in effect for the area until 7pm Thursday. The flooding has caused the closure of numerous schools as stalled vehicles litter the roadways. Wind damage in the Central community of East Baton Rouge Parish and in the city limits of Baton Rouge were caused by possible tornadoes. The East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office said on Facebook that the tornado began north of I-10 and caused minimal damage to trees in Jefferson Terrace before crossing the interstate and Wards Creek. ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
