San Bernardino County Sheriff: Today is Peace Officers Memorial Day, marking the end of #NationalPoliceWeek. While we can’t fill the void left behind by these true heroes, we can honor them not only today but every day.

In 2021, 15 Border Patrol Agents lost their lives in the line of duty. #NationalPoliceWeek is a time to honor our fellow agents who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. We will remember our fallen, always.

Today is the annual National Peace Officers' Memorial Service at the US Capitol. To honor this important event, I would like to recognize the Tucson Sector agents who lost their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

In observance of #nationalpoliceweek, Sheriff Luna honors Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputies & all peace officers across the United States who made the ultimate sacrifice and laid down their lives while serving and protecting their communities.
